Nancy Young Elementary School PTA Dolphin Dash 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk/Run, Saturday, May 6, 2017 from 7:30am to 10:30am.

PURPOSE:
To raise money for additional educational programs and resources for Nancy Young Elementary School.
BACKGROUND:
The Nancy Young Elementary School PTA has put on this proposed event for the past 10 years with 255 people participating last year.
DISCUSSION:
The organizers are expecting 350 to participate this year, and 50 staff/volunteers to help, and using the same route. The sponsor organization is responsible for all costs associated with holding this proposed event.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
City services will be needed from the Aurora Police Department Traffic Control Division and barricades/cones from the Street Maintenance Division.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Please forward to the Government Operations Committee for review/approval.
