SUBJECT:
An Ordinance Changing the Name of Marilyn Lane to Friar Drive between Mitchell Road and Schomer Road in Kane County, Aurora Illinois (The City of Aurora - 17-00566 / AU11/1-17.098-M - TV - Ward 1)

PURPOSE:
The City of Aurora is requesting a street name change from Marilyn Lane to Friar Drive between Mitchell Road and Schomer Road.

BACKGROUND:
There was a discrepancy between the Approved Address Plat and the approved Final Plat for Linden Grove Subdivision. The Plat of Subdivision was recorded with Marilyn Lane but all of the properties were given Friar Drive addresses.

DISCUSSION:
Staff has reviewed the Street Name Change petition and have determined that it meets the applicable codes and ordinances.

IMPACT STATEMENT :
The properties in this area are currently using Friar Drive, therefore, this street name change will not have any impact and will correct the County's records.

RECOMMENDATIONS:
Staff would recommend APPROVAL of the Ordinance Changing the Name of Marilyn Lane to Friar Drive between Mitchell Road and Schomer Road in Kane County, Aurora Illinois
