Resolution Authorizing an Annual Action Plan Substantial Amendment (2014 - #5) to Reflect Funding Re/Allocations for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships Act (HOME) Programs


PURPOSE:
Staff requests authorization of an Annual Action Plan Substantial Amendment (2014 - #5) to provide grant funding for the projects listed below. The Block Grant Working Committee (BGWC) met on October 29, 2014 and made the following recommendations for funding (re)allocations:

The BGWC chose the above items for funding (re)allocations as they will allow Rebuilding Together Aurora to redistribute a large additional allocation of 2015 CDBG funds over four program years to better suit the organization's program capacity, and will also assist the Association for Individual Development (AID) to purchase and rehabilitate two workforce housing units located at 843-845 Bowditch Avenue in Aurora (a duplex). The BGWC will hold a Public Hearing on Monday November 17, 2014 at 5:00 P.M., in the City Hall Council Chambers to discuss the above recommendations.
