Halloween Trick or Treat Hours on Saturday, October 31, 2015 from 4:00pm to 7:30pm.

PURPOSE:
To request that families participating in trick or treat on Halloween abide by the suggested hours for safety purposes.
BACKGROUND:
The hours suggested has been the same for at least the past 8 years.
DISCUSSION:
The City is encouraging participants to be conscious of and practice safety while participating in trick or treat from 4:00pm to 7:30pm on Halloween.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
The City is requesting that the policy is trick or treat will take place from 4:00pm to 7:30pm on Saturday, October 31, 2015 and that the policy be communicated to the public through various Depts./Divs. Such as Customer Services, Police Department, Public Information, Community Relations, etc.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Please forward to the Government Operations Committee for approval.
