PURPOSE:
The Steck Elementary School PTA is requesting approval of its application to hold a 5K run and walk as a fundraiser for the school PTA.
BACKGROUND:
This is the sixth year that the school PTA is proposing to hold this event and they are utilizing the same route as last year.
DISCUSSION:
Steck is responsible for all costs associated with holding this event. The school PTA is expecting 500 people to participate and 30 staff/volunteers to help with the event.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
City services will be needed from the Aurora Police Department Traffic Control Division
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Please forward to the Government Operations Committee for approval.
