Aurora East High School Homecoming Parade Using 5th Ave, Smith St., 4th Ave., and Union St. on Wednesday September 30, 2015 from 3:30pm to 4:30pm.

PURPOSE:
Aurora East High School is proposing to hold a parade as a part of homecoming week activities leading up to the school's homecoming football game.
BACKGROUND:
The school has held an annual homecoming parade during the week after school for many years prior to this year. The event is proposed to be held during the weekend this year.
DISCUSSION:
Aurora East High School is responsible for all costs associated with holding this proposed event.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
City services are needed from the Aurora Police Department Traffic Control Division and barricades are requested from the Streets Maintenance Division.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Please forward to the Government Operations Committee for approval.
