A Parking Study for Concord Street in the 600 block. Ward 4, Alderman Donnell.
body
PURPOSE:
A Parking Study for Concord Street in the 600 block to determine the need for a reserved Handicap parking space at 626 Concord Street.
BACKGROUND:
A Resident submitted ACR Case ID 129859 requesting a reserved Handicap parking space in front of 626 Concord Street.
DISCUSSION:
Concord Street is a NO OUTLET roadway. The Concord roadway has few, if any, drive approaches. The homes are serviced by alleyways. The alley in back of 626 Concord Street has a two-car garage that does not have an automatic opener. Due to the limited access form the alley and renter status, staff is recommending approval.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
Operations will be required to install Handicap signage.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Staff recommends installation of handicap signage at 626 Concord Street.
