ATMI Precast is requesting permission to close the 600 block of South Elmwood from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturday, September 2, 2017 for their Employee Appreciation Day.

PURPOSE:
ATMI Precast would like to close Elmwood between Rathbone and Ridgeway for their Employee Appreciation Day. They currently own the property on both sides of the street in that location.
BACKGROUND:
This is the first year for this event which is a private event for employees and families.
DISCUSSION:
There is no residential on this block and traffic is light. Rerouting traffic in this area should not be an issue. ATMI will utilize own barricades for street closure. A map of the street closure is included as an attachment.
A COI is forthcoming.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
There are no city services associated with this event.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
I recommend the proposed event be forwarded to the Government Operations Committee for review and approval.
