The Wheatland's Elementary School PTA Running of the Wolves 5K Run/Walk, Sunday May 1, 2016 from 8:00am to 10:00am.

PURPOSE:
The Wheatland's Elementary School PTA is requesting permission to hold its annual Running of the Wolves 5K Run/Walk as a fundraiser for the school to purchase educational curriculum and technology.
BACKGROUND:
The Wheatland's Elementary School PTA have held this event for the past 6 years. Last year, 380 people participated.
DISCUSSION:
The Wheatland's Elementary School PTA is expecting 400-500 people to participate and 60 staff/volunteers to help at this years proposed event. The approval for the proposed event pertains only to City property involved with the event route. The Wheatland's Elementary School PTA is responsible for all costs associated with this proposed event.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
Services will be needed from the Aurora Police Department Traffic Control Division.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Please forward to the Government Operations Committee for approval.
