PURPOSE:
A Traffic Study for the Watson Street and Simms Street intersection to evaluate requst to change existing 2-Way Yield signage to 2-Way Stop signage.
BACKGROUND:
A Resident submitted ACR Case ID 119548 expressing concern about the effectiveness of Yield signage on Watson Street approaching Simms Street.
DISCUSSION:
It has been past practice of the Committee to honor request to change Yield signage to Stop signage base on resident request. Staff concurs with this practice.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
Operations would be responsible for replacing the signage.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Staff recommends replacing the 2-Way Yield signage on Watson Street approaching Simms Street with 2-Way Stop signage.
