The Aurora Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is requesting permission to stage Claim's Festival at Claim Street Park on Saturday, August 8, 2015 from 1:00 to 6:00 pm.

PURPOSE:
The purpose of this event is to bring the community together.
BACKGROUND:
This is the first year for this event. No music or food vendors are planned.
DISCUSSION:
Organizers are planning on having family friendly activities such as face painting and inflatables.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
There are no City services being requested.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
I request the proposed event be forwarded to the Government Operations Committee for review and approval.
