PURPOSE:
A Parking Study for 306 Wilder Street to install an on-street Handicap parking space.
BACKGROUND:
An item was submitted (PS # 2810662) requesting an on-street Handicap parking space for 306 Wilder Street.
DISCUSSION:
Wilder Street is a residential roadway with a speed limit of 25 mph. The width is 29.5 ft. There is no drive approach for the residence at 306 Wilder Street, although there is an alleyway in the rear. Contacted Ms. Wotell, residence is sectioned into 4 apartments, alley does not serve her, enters from Wilder.
There are no Handicap parking spaces close to 306 Wilder Street at this time.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
Operations would be responsible for the installation of signage.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Staff recommends installing signage to create an on-street Handicap parking space in front of 306 Wilder Street.
