The Three Fires Council Foxfire District Cub Scout Day Camp at Phillips Park, Skate Board and Gazebo Areas, from July 17, 2016 to July 23, 2016 from 7:30am to 4:00pm daily.

PURPOSE:
The Three Fires Council Boy Scouts are requesting permission to hold a week long day camp at Phillips Park to support the Three Fires Council Boy Scouts activities.
BACKGROUND:
The Three Fires Council Boy Scouts Foxfire District has conducted the day camp for the past 14 years. There were 122 participants in 2015.
DISCUSSION:
The Three Fires Council Boy Scouts are proposing to conduct a week long day camp at Phillips Park in 2016. They are expecting 130-150 participants and more than 30 staff/volunteers to help with the camp.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
The Three Fires Council Boy Scouts and its Foxfire District is responsible for all costs associated with holding this proposed day camp. They are requesting the Parks & Recreation Division to allow them to use the park areas they have used in the past to hold the day camp again this year.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Please forward to the Government Operations Committee for approval.
