SUBJECT:title
A Parking Study on Park Ridge Lane for NO PARKING signage.  Ward 10, Alderman Johnson
body
PURPOSE:
To determine the need for Parking Restriction signage on the One-Way section of Park Ridge Lane, running from Frontenac Street to the north, down to Frontenac Street in the south.

BACKGROUND:
A resident submitted ACR Case ID 96105 expressing desire for the addition of parking signage for the existing Yellow Curb markings on Park Ridge Lane.

DISCUSSION:
The roadway has two sharp curves, each have Yellow Curb on the inside of the curve may cause line of site issues.  Yellow Curb and signage exist at the entrance and exit to Frontenac Street. It should be noted that with the installation of signage the curb painting will not be maintained.

IMPACT STATEMENT:
Operation will be required to install NO PARKING signage.

RECOMMENDATIONS:
Staff recommends approval of NO PARKING signage at existing no parking zones.
