Requesting approval for Alpha Media LLC to have a Music Festival during their Cock-A-Doodle Festival Event on Saturday, September 29, 2018 to be held at Hollywood Casino Parking Lot, 201 N. River Street.
PURPOSE:
Alpha Media LLC will be holding their Cock-A-Doodle Brew Festival Event on September 29, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. As part of this festival, Alpha Media LLC would like to have live musical entertainment, which requires City Council's approval prior to the issuance of a permit.
BACKGROUND:
This will be their fourth event here in the City of Aurora. They have hired Lou Dog Productions to assist in the organization of this event. Lou Dog Production as extensive experience in producing brew festivals throughout the Chicago land area. Expected attendance is estimated at around 1,300.
DISCUSSION:
Alpha Media LLC has been working with the City Clerk's Office to ensure that all required documentation are met prior to the event. Alpha Media LLC has also submitted an application for an Assembly Operational Permit, and an inspection of the site will be conducted prior to the event.
