SUBJECT:
A resolution amending resolution R13-263 with Crowe Horwath, LLP, Oak Brook Illinois for an additional amount of $44,608.00. This change order would allow for the addition of a RFI (request for information) phase. This additional phase will allow for a study of what the market offers prior to the release of a full RFP for both the Public Safety and Public Administration software suites.

PURPOSE:
Crowe Horwath is currently engaged with the City in a multiple phase project to determine the upgrade path for our Public Safety and Public Administration software suites. The needs assessment phase collected information from all divisions in the City. The feedback and report from the analysis phase call for a truly integrated and collaborative system at all levels of the City. The software capabilities necessary within these new software suites continue to mature and become a greater value to the City and its residents. The RFI will allow for an in depth study of what the market(s) can currently provide. The RFI is especially critical given the time frames necessary to implement both products. It will be a multiple year process that will require knowledge of the vendor's roadmaps as well as their current offerings. The review of the RFI will enable us filter, prioritize, and schedule the items for the next RFP steps, making the RFP process more efficient and productive. The City's goal is to select systems that will meet both the currents needs and align with the future needs of the City and its residents.

The project to date has established the need for high...
