PURPOSE:
To study Parking Regulations for the 1300 block of Ironwood Court.
BACKGROUND:
A Resident submitted ACR Case ID 116136 requesting removal of overnight parking restrictions for Ironwood Court.
DISCUSSION:
None of the surrounding roadways have any overnight parking restrictions (NO PARKING 2AM_5AM). Why these restrictions were imposed in December 2003 is not clear. Curbs with insufficient space for vehicle parking are already marked as Yellow Curb. There is one stretch of free curb that would accommodate two or three cars.
These restrictions are not common in residential area and staff supports removal.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
Operations would be responsible for removing the signage.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Staff recommends approval of removal of NO PARKING 2AM_5AM signage.
