PURPOSE:
A Parking Study for Eastwood Drive in the 1300 block to determine the need for additional NO PARKING signage.
BACKGROUND:
A Resident submitted ACR Case ID 119820 complaining that neighborhood vehicles are parking in the street blocking driveway access.
DISCUSSION:
The North side of Eastwood Drive already has NO PARKING at any time. The intersection of Eastwood Drive at N. Elmwood Drive has Yellow Curb to mark No Parking Here to Corner. The roadway is just under 28-ft in width. The roadway has public parking that is needed by residents in the area.
To assist with enforcement of the existing ordinance with regards to 'No Parking' within 5 feet of a driveway, staff recommends yellow paint 5 feet from each side of the driveways in this area.
