SUBJECT:title
A Parking Study for S. Eola Road and Oakfield Drive. Ward 9, Alderman Bugg
body
PURPOSE:
To observe parking patterns on Oakfield Drive near the intersection with S. Eola Road.
BACKGROUND:
A Resident submitted ACR Case ID 99383 expressing concern with vehicles parked on Oakfield Drive from the nearest driveways to the corner of S. Eola Road.
DISCUSSION:
Standard NO PARKING HERE TO CORNER will address sight concern on approach to Eola Drive, as well as ending confusion as to whether there is enough curb space to park there.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
Operations would need to install recommended signage.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Staff recommends a NO PARKING HERE TO CORNER signage located from the corner to the edge of the nearest driveway on each side of Oakfield Drive approaching S. Eola Road.
