West Aurora High School PTSO Homecoming Parade, Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 3:00pm to 4:00pm.

PURPOSE:
The parade is a part of the homecoming celebration and festivities during the week preceding the Friday night football game.
BACKGROUND:
The annual homecoming parade has been held for many years on the neighborhood streets near West High School. There were 450 people in attendance for last year's parade.
DISCUSSION:
The West Aurora High School PTSO is requesting permission to hold its annual Homecoming Parade. 400 people are projected to attend and 30-40 volunteers/personnel will help. West Aurora High School is responsible for all costs associated with holding this proposed event.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
City services will be needed from the Police Department Traffic Control Division and Streets Maintenance Division for parking signs and barricades.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Please forward to the Government Operations Committee for review/approval.
