PURPOSE:
To determine the warrants for four-way STOP signage or a traffic signal at the intersection of Cheshire Drive and McCoy Drive.
BACKGROUND:
A Resident submitted ACR Case ID 107928 requesting a Traffic Study for the intersection of Cheshire Drive and McCoy Drive, with the possibility of installing a four-way stop or a traffic signal.
DISCUSSION:
An Intersection Design Study was performed for the intersection. None of the eight signal warrants were satisfied per the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices.
Additionally the possibility of an all way stop was investigated and not recommended.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
No action.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Staff recommends denial.
