Rosary High School Alumnae is requesting permission to stage the 19th annual Rosary Alumnae Road Scholars 5K on Sunday, May 20, 2018 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.

PURPOSE:
This event is a fundraiser for student scholarships.
BACKGROUND:
Rosary High School has held this event for the last 18 years. Last year 110 runners participated.
DISCUSSION:
Rosary High School is expecting 125 runners to participate this year assisted by 25 volunteers utilizing the same route as in previous years. A detailed route map is attached. Organizers are responsible for all costs associated with the event. A COI is forthcoming.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
City services will be needed from the Aurora Police Department Traffic Control Division.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
I request the proposed event be forwarded to the Government Operations Committee for review and approval.
