A resolution authorizing the purchase, installation, and configuration of equipment at two new Harris Public Radio System high profile tower sites. These sites are located at 649 S. River St. (Water and Sewer Maintenance Facility and 2680 Church Rd. (Church Rd. Water Tower). Total project cost of $566,559.00

PURPOSE:

It is well past time to move the mobile unit back to it's original purpose. AMK as part of the original construction of the system did the configuration of all twelve sites that support this system. Given the critical nature of this system asole source letter is attached.

BACKGROUND:
The Harris Radio System provides coverage throughout the City's jurisdictions. As the City grows it is necessary to enhance coverage for different areas of the community. This process of continual improvement is both necessary and critical for Public Safety. The coverage gain provided by these improvements is also a benefit to other City Departments.
