Open Door Health Center of Illinois is requesting permission to utilize McCarty Park on June 24, 2017 as part of National HIV Testing Day.

PURPOSE:
The purpose is to distribute information to the community about Open Door Health Center, provide STI services and do on-site HIV testing.
BACKGROUND:
This is the first time ODC has requested use of public property to raise awareness of HIV in the community.
DISCUSSION:
The event will take place from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.
There are no City costs directly related to this event.
A COI is forthcoming.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
No direct impact.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
I request the proposed event be forwarded to the Government Operations Committee for review and approval."
