PURPOSE:
To approve the Letter of Credit Reduction No. 1 for
East Aurora High School - Expansion
BACKGROUND:
This section should state the origin or source of the request (the need, history of issues, bid/RFP dates, process followed to evaluate potential options, etc) and other information that may be relevant for the Committee and Council to understand the purpose of the request.
DISCUSSION:
Subdivision Control Ordinance allows for the partial reduction of improvement securities based upon certification of installed public improvements and confirmation of same by City staff. Said improvements have been made and certified by the developer and confirmed by City staff as installed and inspected, and a signed and sealed engineer's cost estimate for the reduction is on file with the division of Engineering for the City.
