Your Health Vision City of Lights 10K, Friday, July 4, 2014 from 7:00am to 8:30am.

PURPOSE:
Your Health Vision is requesting permission to hold a running road race at Phillips Park and surrounding city streets for a 10K.
BACKGROUND:
Last year was the first time Your Health Vision held an event utilizing Phillips Parks and a route that went away from the park to other parts of the City. This year the proposal includes using the designated 10K route for Phillips Park.
DISCUSSION:
The organizer and/or sponsoring organization is responsible for all costs associated with holding this event.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
The organizer and sponsoring organization are requesting services from the Aurora Police Department Traffic Division, barricades from the Streets Maintenance Division, and permission to use Phillips Park (as outlined in the route map and directions) from the Parks and Recreation Division.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Please forward to the Government Operations Committee for consideration.
