Halloween Trick or Treat Hours, Wednesday, October 31, 2018 from 4:00pm to 7:30pm.

PURPOSE:
To establish the official hours of participation for door to door Halloween Trick or Treat activities.
BACKGROUND:
The City of Aurora has used the time frame of 4:00pm to 7:30pm as the official Halloween Trick or Treat time for many years.
DISCUSSION:
The time frame of 4:00pm to 7:30pm has been determined to be a safe timeframe for this activity.
Once the hours are officially established, information and tips on safety will be provided to the public.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
Increased vigilance for safety by the Aurora Police and Fire Departments for kids and families participating in Trick or Treat activities.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Please forward to the Government Operations Committee for review/approval.
