PURPOSE:
To study the possibility of installing a STOP sign on Heather Glen Drive as it approaches N. Oakhurst Drive.
BACKGROUND:
A residential request was submitted by E-mail expressing concern about the intersection of Heather Glen Drive where it approaches N. Oakhurst Drive. There is no STOP signage at this intersection.
DISCUSSION:
There is no STOP or YIELD signage at the above intersection. Heather Glen Drive is a residential street, while Oakhurst is designated a minor collector.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
Operations will be required to install STOP sign.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Staff recommends installation of a STOP sign on Heather Glen approaching N. Oakhurst Drive complete with Stop Bar painted marking as weather permits.
