PURPOSE:
A Parking Study for 640 Oak Avenue to observe blocked driveway complaint.
BACKGROUND:
A Resident submitted ACR Case ID 123476 complaining of cars blocking his driveway.
DISCUSSION:
Oak Avenue is a Residential roadway. Looking at the front of 640 Oak Avenue from the street, there is a double-wide drive approach which is shared with their neighbor to the south.
The City, in general does not sign each driveway for parking restrictions. However, the City has, upon request, provided the standard 5 foot yellow curb each side of driveway to reinforce current ordinance restrictions.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
Operations would be responsible for the installation.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Staff recommends installing 5-ft. of Yellow Curb on either side of the double-wide apron.
