PURPOSE:
To raise money for the Indian Prairie Education Foundation and McCarty Elementary School.
BACKGROUND:
This event was held for the first time in 2016 and 169 people participated.
DISCUSSION:
McCarty Elementary School is seeking approval to hold this proposed event again in 2017 at the school and on surrounding streets in the neighborhood. The school is expecting 250 people to participate in the event activities and 20 staff/volunteers to help. McCarty Elementary School is responsible for all costs associated with holding this proposed event.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
City services will be needed from the Aurora Police Department Traffic Control Division.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Please forward to the Government Operations Committee for review/approval.
