PURPOSE:
A Parking Study for 610 College Avenue to determine the need for a Handicap Parking Space.
BACKGROUND:
A Resident submitted ACR 118006 requesting consideration for an in-street Handicap Parking Space.
DISCUSSION:
College Avenue is a Residential roadway with a Speed Limit of 25mph. Street width is a standard 29.5-ft. The residential building has a one-lane drive approach, leading to a two-car garage in the back. The home is not ADA accessible.
Guidelines by the City are not to allow handicap parking in residential areas unless extenuating circumstances. None of the qualifying extenuating circumstances exist.

No action required.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Staff recommends denial.
