Steck Elementary School PTA is requesting permission to stage the Steck Fun Run on September 22, 2018 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.

PURPOSE:
This is a fundraiser for the PTA and promotes a sense of community within the school.
BACKGROUND:
The Steck Elementary PTA has held this event for the past 7 years and last year 600 people participated.
DISCUSSION:
This year Steck is once again expecting 600 participants along with 40 staff/volunteers to assist. The same route is being utilized and a map is included in this packet as well as a COI. Steck PTA is responsible for all costs associated with this proposed event.
IMPACT STATEMENT:
City services are requested from the Aurora Police Department Traffic Control Division.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
I request the proposed event be forwarded to the Government Operations Committee for review and approval.
