TO: Mayor Richard C. Irvin
FROM: Jennifer Stallings, City Clerk
DATE: August 1, 2024
SUBJECT:
To correct O24-041 enacted on July 23, 2024 (Legistar 24-0505) establishing the Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Advisory Board (AANPI) Under Chapter 2, Article VI of the Code of Ordinances.
PURPOSE:
To replace O24-041 with the correct language establishing the Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Advisory Board (AANPI). There is an error in the last paragraph of O24-041 that inadvertently refers to the, "Sister Cities Commission" instead of the Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Advisory Board (AANPI). This ordinance, if approved, will replace the current ordinance.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Staff respectfully requests the approval of this item.
