A Recommendation to Advertise for Bids for the Stonegate Units 1, 5, and 6 Street Lighting Improvements - Finance Committee Meeting April 22, 2014
PURPOSE:
To secure authorization to advertise for bids for the above referenced project.
BACKGROUND:
There have been concerns of inadequate street lighting throughout the subdivision. Upon inspection our Electrical and Engineering Divisions have determined that a total of 10 additional street lights can be installed at various areas throughout Units 1,5, and 6.
DISCUSSION:
The improvements will consist of the installation of 10 streetlights, luminaires, directional boring, conduit, wiring, and restoration on various streets in Units 1, 5, and 6 of Stonegate in Ward 10. The estimated cost of the project is $48,000.00.
Funding for this project is provided in Ward 10 account # 320-4020-418.38-09.
